Cheap Cell Phones | Before You Buy
By Aged Domain
As the world becomes more informed with updated technology, cellular phones start becoming more expensive. Cell phones started becoming popular in the early 90’s and the only thing they were useful for was talking. In today’s society, cellular phones have many uses.
They are equipped with SMS/Text Messaging, Bluetooth, Internet, Games,
Music, Mp3, Ringtones, and the list goes on. The more features that you
want on your phone, the more money it will cost you. There are a wide
range of cell phone companies available, and they all have their own
plans and their own rates, so choosing the plan that is right for you
can become a chore.
Tips to Buying a Cell Phone
You need to know what you will be using the phone for so you have some idea of what features you might need or want before purchasing cheap cell phones for sale.
Do you have a cell phone plan or are you trying to sign up for one?
If you have a phone plan already, you might try looking for a cell
phone at a used cell phone store. Most used cell phone stores don’t
have a warranty on the phone but you will probably find a really nice
phone for a much lower and cheaper cost.
If you don’t have any cheap cell phone plans in mind, make sure to check out phones that
are included with the plan you want to purchase. Sometimes you can get
a cell phone for free or at a really low price when you first sign up
for service.
Do you travel? If you do travel a lot, you may need something with GPS capabilities or possibly a camera.
What style of phone are you looking for? There are many different
styles such as, flip phones, camera phones, Smart phones, and iPhones.
Some cellular phone companies place a SIM card inside the phone that
you can remove when you purchase another phone and place it into your
new or used phone. These SIM cards store your contacts, music,
ringtones, and whatever you stored on it.
Cell Phone Usage Cautions
Cellular Phones emit electromagnetic radiation which may cause some
health risks such as cancer if they are used for long periods of time.
It is best to have a cell phone with speakerphone capabilities so you
are not constantly holding the cell phone up to your ear. When you are
holding the phone to your ear, you are allowing the radiation waves to
travel into your head. It does take time for these health risks to
occur but it is best to take precautions. It is also best to keep them
away from young children because they are still developing.
Many places have banned the use of cellular phones due to distractions
and the radio waves. Always look for a sign when entering a place that
you have never been to make sure that cell phones are not restricted.
Places That Have Restricted Cellular Phone Use
Most schools have banned the use of cellular phones because they cause
distractions. Children use them for cheating on tests, texting in
class, and spreading rumors.
Some public restrooms have banned cell phones because most cell phones
are equipped with cameras and you could possibly invade someone’s
privacy.
In many states cell phones have been banned while driving because
people have a tendency to pay more attention to their phone rather than
the road.
Hospitals and Doctor’s offices have also banned the use of phones
because of the radiation put off by them can cause interference with
patients monitoring equipment.
By following these tips and guidelines you should be ready to start
shopping for cheap cell phones that will meet your needs and also fit
your budget.
